Project Description

RC Yala handed over the Bio-Sand Water Filter units to Mr. Tirtharaj Bhattarai, Mayor of Diktel Rupakot Majhuwagadhi Municipality, Koshi Province, amid an Interaction and Discussion Program regarding the installation of Bio-Sand Filter plants in 30 schools within the municipality on 18th Feb 2026. This initiative was made possible through the collaboration of RC Jindalee (Australia), RC Yala, RI District 3292, Diktel Municipality and Best Paani Nepal. The Total cost of project is Rs 10 lakhs.
