Project Details
Description
The TaRL project is designed to address foundational learning gaps. The TaRl methodology focuses on assessing students' learning levels and tailoring instruction accordingly. The project has made significant strides in improving literacy and numeracy among students in grade 3 to 5. The project was implemented in 13 public schools in Lalitpur district, with training sessions conducted for Nepali, English, and Mathmatics teachers under the first phase. The second phase of the project is currently underway, covering 16 public schools in Lalitpur and Kavre districts. Under this phase, training for teachers of Grades 3, 4, and 5 and student assessments (baseline, midline, and endline) in the concerned schools have been completed. The evaluation of these assessments is currently in progress. At present, workshops on Inclusive Education and Gender Responsive School Environment are being conducted in the schools.
